Privacy policy
Last updated 27 September 2026
Subah is a personal app used only by its owner, Tanvir Israque. This policy explains what it does with data from Google accounts he connects.
Google data Subah uses
- Gmail: message details and content, to show, search, sort and summarise his mail; labels (folders), to organise it; drafts, which it only sends when he approves; and Gmail filters he asks it to create.
- Google Calendar: events on the one calendar he chooses, to keep it in sync with his planner.
- Email address: to tell his connected accounts apart.
How it's used
Only to provide these features to him inside Subah. It is never sold, never shared with anyone else, never used for advertising, and never used to train AI models. To sort and summarise email at his request, parts of it are processed by Anthropic's Claude API, which acts only on Subah's behalf.
Subah's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
Storage and security
Data is kept in Subah's private Google Cloud project, encrypted in transit and at rest. Google access tokens are additionally encrypted, and only the owner can sign in to the app.
Removing access and data
Disconnecting an account in Subah's Settings revokes its Google access and deletes the email Subah indexed for it. Access can also be removed at any time at myaccount.google.com/permissions.
